An agreed landed-delivery scope
What DDP Shipping Means
DDP shipping from China to Australia is a delivery arrangement where the seller or logistics provider manages the agreed international freight, import customs process, applicable duty and tax handling, and delivery to the named destination. The exact inclusions must be stated in the quotation and shipping terms.
DDP is useful when the Australian receiver wants a clearer landed-delivery arrangement, but it is not a universal tax-included service for every product. The commodity, value, country of origin, documents, importer arrangement and Australian customs or biosecurity requirements must be reviewed before the route is accepted.

Air DDP vs Sea DDP Shipping
Air DDP
Air DDP is suitable for urgent, compact or higher-value shipments. Pricing commonly uses the higher of actual and volumetric weight. Battery products, liquids, powders and other sensitive cargo require route approval. The final Australian delivery can be to a private address, business or eligible warehouse.
Sea DDP
Sea DDP is suitable for larger, heavier or less urgent cargo. Consolidated shipments may be charged by cubic metre, weight or a route-specific minimum. Full-container movements require additional planning for container delivery, unloading and detention.

One customs model, several destinations
Private Address, Business, FBA and Warehouse Delivery
DDP can be reviewed for residential and commercial addresses after the exact postcode and unloading conditions are confirmed. See Private and Business Address Delivery for residential, remote and tail-lift requirements.
Amazon FBA cargo must follow the current shipment plan, labels and appointment process. See Amazon FBA Shipping. Deliveries to a 3PL or overseas warehouse require booking references, receiving hours and pallet or carton standards. See Overseas Warehouse Delivery.
Know what is included
Customs, Duty and GST Handling
A DDP quote should identify the freight scope, customs arrangement, duty and GST treatment, local delivery and exclusions. The amount payable depends on the declared value, tariff classification, origin, applicable duty rate, GST calculation and any inspection or biosecurity costs.
Some goods may require permits, treatment, testing, special declarations or an Australian importer arrangement. DDP may be unavailable for restricted, high-risk or incorrectly documented cargo. ASP Cargo can coordinate with customs clearance and tariff consultancy where a classification or compliance review is needed.
